    PediaLink Course: Identification, Management, and Caring for Children and Adolescents with Fragile X Syndrome

    The AAP, with support from the CDC, presents this free educational course which features Fragile X Syndrome subject matter experts, including clinicians and a family/caregiver. The course provides education and resources for pediatricians and other healthcare professionals on the identification, management, and caring for children and adolescents diagnosed with Fragile X Syndrome. This activity is eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Creditâ„¢.


    Webinar: Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Enduring Webinar Series

    This free education series on PediaLink includes 5 modules highlighting the updated care considerations and emerging therapies related to the care and management of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (MD) (Pediatrics Supplement, October 2018). The series emphasizes the common issues affecting children with Duchenne MD and the role of pediatricians, other physicians, nonphysician clinicians, and allied health professionals as effective partners in providing coordinated care for individuals living with Duchenne MD. Each of the modules are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Creditâ„¢.


    Birth Defects and Infant Disorders Resources

    Birth defects are structural changes present at birth that can affect almost any part of the body. Of the nearly 4 million infants born in the United States each year, approximately 3% have some type of birth defect. These resources can help educate individuals, parents, and families by providing them with the information they need to seek proper care. Healthcare clinicians can also learn more on how to deliver the best care for patients across all stages of life: before and during pregnancy, and in infancy, childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. Utilize these free resources to learn more about birth defects and infant disorders, including Spina Bifida, Congenital Heart Defects, Fragile X Syndrome, and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
