The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) conducts genetic and genomic research, funds genetic and genomic research and promotes that research to advance genomics in health care.  The NHGRI is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the nation’s medical research agency.



The Genetics/Genomics Competency Center (G2C2) provides high quality educational resources for group instruction were self-directed learning in genetics/genomics by health care educators and providers.

The American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG) is the only national interdisciplinary professional membership organization that embodies the interests of the entire medical genetics team including clinical geneticists, laboratory geneticists, genetic counselors, PAs and NPs.
